Hi, I’m Eliane (Ellie) — Welcome!
I’m a physiotherapist with over 2 decades of experience helping people move with confidence and live more comfortably every day. My journey began in São Paulo, Brazil, where I completed my Physiotherapy degree in 1997 and worked across hospitals, rehabilitation centres, private clinics, and community settings. After moving to Canada, I completed the Internationally Educated Physiotherapist Bridging Program and obtained my Independent Practice License with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
Drawing on both international and Canadian experience, I combine evidence-based practice with a compassionate, client-centred approach. Whether it’s recovering from injury, managing pain, or maintaining independence, my goal is to help you move better and feel more confident in your everyday life.
Services
As an advanced neurorehabilitation clinician with formal training in Bobath, Neuro-Developmental Treatment (NDT), and Vestibular/Concussion Rehabilitation, I am committed to providing high-quality, individualized care in the community. I work collaboratively with clients, families, and caregivers to support meaningful progress and recovery. My approach emphasizes teamwork and communication, and I maintain strong connections with trusted colleagues across multiple disciplines; enabling seamless referrals to occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, social workers, and medical specialists when needed.
